Who is the Digital & SEO Specialist?

 Is the professional who creates, manages, and harmonies the company's Digital Marketing. This person has a great knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing, with solid experience in promotional and advertising activities, excellent sociological and often psychological preparation, as well as extensive experience and knowledge of "hard skills" that are purely technical. Web Marketing, Social Communication, SEO & Web Analytics... are just part of the digital apparatus that this specialist must be able to manage.

Analytical Skills

Skills aimed at analysing and extracting, from a purely technical point of view and through appropriate tools and instruments, the main data and information related to the current status of a Website or other digital touch-points, with the aim of detecting problems and errors in SEO optics, potential criticalities and any areas for improvement for its optimisation.

Skills in SEO

Skills in Search Engine Optimisation require knowledge of all activities aimed at optimising, indexing, and ranking a Website or its content on major search engines (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, etc.), in order to appear among the top results on SERP (Search Engine Results Page) and increase organic traffic volume. To achieve this, it is necessary to perform activities such as analysis, keyword research, identification of the target audience, optimisation of meta tags, meta descriptions, and alt text, etc.

Knowledge of Programming Languages

Knowledge of the main programming languages is necessary to allow computers and devices to transform a series of codes and instructions (input) into output data for Apps, Websites, Programs, etc. Among the main languages to know: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C/C++ and CSS. Knowing server-client network structures and some specific server-side languages, such as PHP, are considered additional pluses.

Ability to use CMS

Knowledge and use of the main CMS (Content Management System) for the management and publication of textual and graphic content for website pages, blog posts, etc. Among the main CMS to know are: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, MediaWiki, ExpressionEngine, Magnolia, HubSpot, Tilda and Wix.

Knowledge of the main Plugins

Knowledge of the main plugins to be used on the platforms (CMS) in use to extend and implement their features (such as creating contact forms, creating newsletters, inserting buttons for Social Media, etc.). Among these: Yoast SEO, Akismet Anti-Spam, Yasr - Yet Another Stars Rating, W3 Total Cache, Cookie Notice, etc.

Content Marketing Skills

Defining an effective Content Strategy by conceiving, creating, publishing, and updating digital content for websites, blogs, landing pages, social networks, etc., in order to generate interest and stimulate engagement among users. These contents will then be monitored through appropriate tools to detect the performance results of the adopted strategy. Furthermore, knowledge of the main online sources for monitoring themes, trends, interests, etc. is required for the development of an effective and contemporary content strategy.
